As always, The Trans Group is committed to the health, safety, and wellbeing of its passengers and employees. This is particularly true during the current pandemic. While we adhere to the specific protocols of each district we serve, we have implemented additional comprehensive measures of our own to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Throughout each day, our buses and facilities undergo aggressive cleaning and disinfecting protocols that include the use of a broad-spectrum disinfectant on every high-touch surface. We have also posted and distributed CDC sanitary precautions for our drivers and other employees throughout our facilities and yards. These guidelines emphasize the need to wear a protective face mask when interacting with children and adults, practice social distancing, wash hands with soap and water, use hand sanitizer, and stay home from work when feeling sick. We are also taking the temperature of every driver at the start of the school day. If a driver is running a fever, he or she must return home.

Officers of The Trans Group continually monitor health alerts from the CDC, New York State Department of Health, and New York State Department of Education. We are also sharing best practices with other school transportation providers.

If you are a parent or guardian and have questions about public school transportation in your district, please contact the district directly or visit the school district’s website for additional information.

During this difficult period we are sparing no effort to safeguard the wellbeing of our riders, drivers, and the school districts we so proudly serve.
